Burma Golf Day

26th June 2007
92 people played golf at the Sherborne Oaks golf course in Hampshire to raise money for Orphanages in Burma. The military junta in Myanmar provides virtually no help for orphans. We were there to record the events on the Course and to provide photos for the players afterwards!

The day got off to a good start and it looked as if everyone was on form, but to keep up their energy levels, the Organisers distributed chocolate eggs on the way round. Some people knew that they were to eat but others seemed to be more single-minded.

Some putts were good and some not so good, but overall the day was exceptional ending up with tea, a raffle and an auction. The organisers were pleased with the day.
